Happy Place Cafe

Some fantastic breakfast food. The review pictures are better than the ones in the menu! Will be back again! Have come back twice since the first review and each visit is great! Tried the Irish breakfast with potato pancakes and it was excellent! I would be here more often if I lived closer but I'm about 35 min away.

Hard to tell which is better, the food, or the service, I mean both are amazing, the operation here is run very efficiently, you get seated promptly, and the service at the table is very attentive and they work extremely hard. Management is doing a really good job with their team and can't say enough about the kitchen, go visit them, you will be happy you did

This is my go to place for breakfast. Always fresh hot and delicious has been my experience. We went on Thursday Apr 4 around 11:30an and they were unusually busy this day. Practically every table was filled it seemed and it seemed to have caught the staff by surprise because they looked to be understaffed for this unusually busy crowd. However, as busy as it was the waitstaff were on top of it and were exceptional!!!! Everything was hot, fresh, and served in a timely manner. Our waitress was awesome!!!! She was a young girl with glasses I think her name was Natalie. Keep up the great work!!

Update from last post ... When here with my son I'm Father's Day June 2025. It was definitely busy but since the restaurant has a large space the seating went relatively quick. The food was just as great as always and the waitress was very attentive. Once again, I highly recommend. Great place to have breakfast, especially if you like traditional. I haven't been here often because I live far away ... The first time I ate there was in 2020 and I was opening up a new store and this came up as a recommended place to eat breakfast. This last time I visited it was the family getting together in a neutral place. I can tell you from them until now I would highly recommend this place for breakfast as the food is delicious the service is speedy, The waitresses are great and the restaurant is very clean.

We visited on Saturday morning, and there was no wait time. We ordered steak and Fajita skillet. They both were delicious, with good portion size. The toast was good, pancake was not good, and the coffee was burned. I only ate one bite from the pancake and didn't finish my coffee. But because of their main course and friendly service, i will visit them again. Prices are fair.

We have been to this place multiple times and it has always been great. Food is good and service is always quick. Great breakfast place if you’re looking for a local spot in shorewood. Recommend it!

We love Happy Place Cafe! We order here once a week and the food is always on point. Great customer service to boot! Our favorites are the burgers, salad and chicken shish kebab dinner. Highly recommend

I cannot think of any better way to compliment this place any more then what I am about to say..So I am relatively new to the area and I first was trying crispy waffle, nothing against them but they are not Happy place cafe. First of all the food is amazing, but I think the reason I love coming here is bc of the service. Only been a few times, but.. Eileen, Caty and Natalie are probably the most amazing, sweetest, attentive servers I've ever had the pleasure of servicing me. Not to mention the manager Ryan you meet when you first walk in makes this place the defitiniton of a "Happy place" and a well oiled machine. Keep the great work everyone! In my 62 years of life I cant say I've ever felt more loyal to a cafe/restaraunt.. P.S. for breakfast always get the crousanwich or the happy place plate. Everything else is good. But those are the top 2 for me.
